Job description

Tom Wood Aviation, in Indianapolis, IN is searching for a Line Service Technician to become a valued member of our team at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport. As part of the Line Crew, your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional customer service to our esteemed guests.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Marshalling arriving and departing aircraft, parking them safely, and towing as necessary.   

  • Performing aircraft fueling, ensuring accurate fuel levels and quality control.  

  • Towing of aircraft and maintaining equipment (trucks, tugs, golf cart, mower, etc.)  

  • Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members; assisting with baggage handling; and providing ground transportation as needed.  

  • Conducting inspections and maintenance of ground support equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.   

  • Refueling of fuel trucks  

  • Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and aircraft. 

  • Maintenance of building (mowing lawn, snow removal, cleaning building, stocking of supplies) 

  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service experience to all Aviation guests  

Qualifications:  

  • High School or Equivalent  

  • Aviation experience preferred 

  • Familiarity with airport procedures and safety regulations can be an asset.  

  • Must have availability to work nights and weekends  

  • Required-Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
