Job description

General Summary The Golf Course Greenskeeper works mainly outside, operating equipment and tools to maintain the golf course and grounds. Requirements and Job Specifications Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent License(s) Required: Valid LA driver's license Years Relevant Work Experience: 1 year golf course work Other: Ability to operate course equipment; Knowledge of fertilizing and seeding greens; Knowledge of safe procedures for handling fertilizers, pesticides and related chemicals; Good interpersonal skills Functions and Duties Cutting, fertilizing and aerating greens and tees, operating triplex greens mower, slope mower, other related equipment Repairing holes and changing damaged flags; raking sand traps Watering and top dressing all greens Spraying and seeding greens Repairing golf course equipment and sprinklers Collecting debris, keeping golf courses and facilities clean Supplemental Information As assigned within the general parameters of 40 hour week, including weekend work.
