Overview

Consider joining the Pennex family as the General Manager at our Leetonia, OH location. The General Manager directs and coordinates activities of Pennex Leetonia Operations by managing the engineering, operations, maintenance, safety, and quality teams. This position works with the President, Manufacturing and the executive team to formulate and administer operational plans to ensure the growth opportunities and business objectives are met to achieve operational excellence and delight the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for business performance for the asset base at the Leetonia facility.
  • Coordinates the activities of the Leetonia Leadership team which is responsible for such activities as setting plant objectives as well as creating corrective and preventative actions.
  • Works with sales to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Develops the leadership team to create a culture of teamwork and actively engage the team to leverage strengths and achieve business objectives, develop site specific policies, and establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.
  • Assists in the developing and implementing of strategic plans by studying the market conditions and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions and making recommendations.
  • Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
  • Develops Capital Asset requests and implements projects to improve operations to maximize returns on investments and to increase productivity.
  • Champions safety culture by actively engaging employees at all levels at a zero‑harm philosophy and works with EHS Director to create vision for achieving this goal.
  • Provides leadership for the Quality team to ensure the highest level of quality standards to maintain customer satisfaction and IATF16949 requirements.
  • Confers with customers on the development of products and customer service required to delight the customer.
  • Develops partnerships with outside processors and businesses to support customer demands and compliment the extrusion products developed and produced.
  • Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of business.
  • Works with Sales leadership to develop annual forecast and provide budget for annual operating plan to meet the business objectives.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • This position will serve as a key member of the Pennex leadership team, reporting directly to the President of Pennex.

Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree is required. An engineering discipline is preferred.
    • MBA is preferred.
  • Experience
    • Fifteen or more years related experience and/or training in site leadership is required.
    • Automotive Aluminum Extrusion experience is required.
    • Fabrication experience in advanced manufacturing is required.

    • Ability to define problems quickly, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $170,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $215,000.00/Yr.
