Responsibilities
SummitRidge Hospital -is a place for Healing and Hope! Our acute care psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens).
Position Summary:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Outpatient Services Director to join our talented Outpatient Services team. Responsible for attainment of goals, setting objectives, assuring plans and policies for Outpatient, service-line are implemented. Accountable for the clinical operations, staffing, and financial management. Responsibilities include implementation of the department's philosophy and goals, standards of care and the management and development of staff. Provide leadership and direction in all matters regarding the service line.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction for all outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical programs to ensure quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support personnel.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for outpatient services.
  • Establish and maintain community partnerships to promote service growth and integration.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives and data-driven program evaluations.
  • Facilitate staff training, professional development, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications
      • Master's Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling or related field
      • Minimum 5 years post licensure experience working with psychiatric population
      • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
      • Strong clinical skills to address crisis situations, family, group, and individual therapy.
