Position SummaryAs a Registered Nurse, you will safely administer methadone and other prescribed medications under the direction of the Medical Director while supporting patients throughout their recovery journey. Care Coordination
  • Collaborate with physicians, counselors, pharmacies, laboratories, and community providers.

Medication Management
  • Maintain medication accountability in accordance with DEA and company standards.
  • Prepare courtesy and vacation medication packages.
  • Monitor medication inventory and report discrepancies promptly.
Compliance & Quality

  • Follow all federal, state, and accreditation standards.
  • Complete required training and maintain nursing competencies.
  • Obtain phlebotomy certification when required by state regulations.
  • Assist with training newly hired nurses.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or substance use treatment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the treatment team.
Work EnvironmentThis position is based in an outpatient medical clinic where nurses provide medication dosing and patient assessments in a structured setting. The work is steady, organized, and focused on caring for patients individually throughout the morning clinic hours.Physical Requirements
