Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days (0700-1530) with rotating weekends.

Job Description: The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a critical care setting where nursing professionals monitor patients' vital signs, begin pain management, and administer fluids following anesthesia. Our dedicated nursing staff is equipped to recognize and address any complications that may arise during recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs post-anesthesia.
  • Administer pain management and fluids as required.
  • Identify and manage complications arising from anesthesia.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in a critical care environment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required.
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS is required.
  • AHA ACLS and PALS certifications are required for NLH PACU.
  • One (1) year of previous PACU or Critical Care experience is preferred.
