Outpatient Infusion RN

Shift: 5x8 Days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemotherapy

Minimum Years of Experience: One in outpatient infusion

Patient Age Group: Adult, Geriatric

Technology: EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer

Common Equipment Used: Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
