Marketing Manager

Hotel Phoenix Atlanta is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the execution of marketing initiatives that elevate the hotelโ€™s brand presence, drive revenue, and strengthen our connection with the Atlanta community.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing digital and social media presence, coordinating public relations efforts, and supporting sales initiatives across all hotel outlets, guest rooms, restaurants, bars, and special events.

This role plays a key part in telling the story of Hotel Phoenix as a destination rooted in Atlantaโ€™s culture, creativity, and hospitality all while driving awareness, engagement, and measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities Brand & Marketing Strategy
  • Build and execute a quarterly integrated marketing plan (digital, print, and on-property) with targets tied to occupancy, RevPAR, and outlet revenue; present results at the monthly marketing review.
  • Audit all guest-facing materials โ€” website, signage, menus, collateral each quarter to confirm alignment with Hotel Phoenix brand voice and the L.V.X. Collection standard.
  • Maintain a brand style guide and messaging matrix, updated seasonally, so tone and visuals stay consistent across digital, print, and in-room materials.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
  • Publish and maintain a weekly social content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, with each post tied to a specific campaign, outlet, or promotion.
  • Update the hotel website, Google Business profile, and OTA/listing pages (TripAdvisor, Preferred Hotels & Resorts) within 48 hours of any rate, package, or property change.
  • Deliver a monthly analytics report benchmarking engagement, follower growth, and website traffic against the prior month and the competitive set.
Public Relations & Community Engagement
  • Secure and log media placements and mentions in a shared coverage tracker, reporting quarterly results to the Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager.
  • Coordinate press and influencer site visits on a pre-approved brand-safety checklist, with a post-visit content recap delivered within 5 business days.
  • Represent Hotel Phoenix at local community and industry partnership events to build brand visibility across Atlanta, tracking new partnerships developed each quarter.
Content Creation & Campaign Execution
  • Maintain a content calendar 6โ€“8 weeks in advance, booking photographers, videographers, and creative partners for outlet, room, and event shoots.
  • Produce campaign assets such as email, paid social, print collateral for each seasonal promotion, routed through brand review before launch.
  • Maintain a centralized, rights-cleared photo and video library organized by outlet, for use by Sales, PR, and F&B teams.
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Management on a monthly promotional calendar tied to group, transient, and outlet revenue goals.
  • Launch at least one packaged offer per quarter (e.g., staycation, holiday, F&B pairing) with trackable booking attribution.
  • Report campaign ROI (bookings generated versus spend) to the Director of Sales & Marketing after each major promotion.
Events & Programming
  • Lead marketing support for signature activations and seasonal programming, aligning timelines with F&B, Events, and Operations.
  • Collaborate with F&B and Operations leadership on entertainment and event programming decisions, routing any vendor, budget, or scheduling changes through the Director of Sales & Marketing for approval.
  • Deliver a post-event recap with attendance, social reach, press pickup within 5 business days of each activation.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain a monthly marketing dashboard covering digital engagement, PR value, campaign ROI, and revenue contribution, presented to leadership.
  • Conduct a quarterly competitive set review to outline positioning, pricing, promotions, social presence to inform strategy adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 3โ€“5 years of marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, luxury, lifestyle brands, or hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
