Position Summary
The Medical Imaging Research Center at Indiana University School of Medicine is recruiting a faculty-level candidate to work with interdisciplinary teams to support cutting-edge programs in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiovascular MRI, interventional MRI, and other areas that address the unmet needs in cardiovascular health. The position is expected to help drive impactful science that delivers on the next generation of diagnostics and therapeutics in cardiovascular care in Indiana and beyond.
Key Eligibility Criteria & Job Description:
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support the development of new MRI technologies and pulse sequences with application in radiology and imaging sciences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and refine cardiovascular and interventional MRI techniques and devices
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to evaluate the performance and reliability of new diagnostic and interventional MRI methodologies
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in science and technology relevant to the field
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues arising during the research and development process
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, patents, and publications
  • Participate in conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills

Compensation & Benefits:
