About Evoscapes

We design and build luxury outdoor environments across Southern California — landscapes, pools, hardscape, and full outdoor living spaces. Our projects show up on the best properties in San Diego, and the work demands a PM who can run a job from first shovel to final walkthrough without dropping details along the way.

We’re growing. We need a project manager who has built in this space, knows how landscape and pool construction actually moves, and can manage jobs, subs, clients, and budgets without constant oversight.

The Role

You’ll own your projects end to end. That means schedule, budget, quality, client communication, and sub management — all of it. Here’s what that looks like day to day:

Project Execution

  • Manage all phases of construction from pre-build planning through completion and client handoff.
  • Build and maintain project schedules. When something shifts, you adjust the plan and communicate the impact — you don’t wait for someone to ask.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify progress, workmanship, and safety. You’re the quality standard on your jobs.
  • Track job costs against budget in real time. Catch overruns early and bring solutions, not just problems.

Client & Team Management

  • Be the primary point of contact for your clients. Set expectations clearly, communicate proactively, and handle issues before they escalate.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors — scope, schedule, quality, and accountability. Hold them to the same standard the client holds us to.
  • Coordinate with designers, architects, and engineers to ensure plans translate cleanly to the field.
  • Process change orders with documented cost and schedule impact. Nothing changes scope without written approval.

Leadership & Standards

  • Ensure all work meets local building codes, permit requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Mentor field staff and foster a culture of accountability and craftsmanship.
  • Provide clear, consistent project updates to ownership. No surprises.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ve managed construction projects in the field, not from a desk. You know what good work looks like and you don’t accept anything less. Specifically:

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience. This is non-negotiable.
  • Direct experience managing landscape or pool construction projects. We need someone who already knows the materials, the sequencing, and the subs. This is required.
  • You manage budgets as tightly as you manage schedules. Job costing is second nature, not something you learn here.
  • Strong communicator — with clients, with subs, with ownership. You give people the information they need without being chased for it.
  • Proficient with project management software. Experience with ConstructionOnline is a plus.
  • You solve problems in the field. When something goes sideways, you handle it, document it, and move the job forward.
  • Flexible on hours. Construction doesn’t run 9–5 and neither does this role.

Why Evoscapes

  • High-end residential projects with real design intent — not commodity work.
  • Direct access to ownership and a voice in how projects and processes are run.
  • A company that is scaling and wants PMs who grow with it, not just fill a seat.
  • Competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits.

The Details

  • Location: San Diego, CA (field and office)
  • Schedule: Full-time. Flexibility required.
  • Compensation: Base salary + performance bonuses + benefits
