Project Manager – Custom Swimming Pool Construction

Location: Overland Park, KS
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of custom pool and outdoor living construction. This position serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners while ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple residential pool construction projects simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain project schedules from excavation through final completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal staff
  • Schedule material deliveries to ensure projects stay on track
  • Conduct regular job site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress
  • Communicate project updates with homeowners throughout construction
  • Review plans and specifications prior to construction
  • Identify scheduling conflicts and proactively solve project challenges
  • Track budgets, job costs, and change orders
  • Ensure permits and inspections are completed on schedule
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, photos, and daily notes
  • Coordinate punch list completion and final customer walkthroughs
  • Work closely with the sales, design, accounting, and construction administration teams

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of construction project management experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
