Testers document their experiences, record detailed observations, and sometimes capture photos or videos to support their findings. They often work independently or in small teams, but regular collaboration with product designers, engineers, and marketing teams is common for sharing feedback and insights. The work can be physically demanding and requires flexibility to adapt to changing weather and terrain, but it's ideal for those who thrive in hands-on, active roles and are passionate about improving outdoor products.

  • Utility Spotting: Visually verify and pothole/spot existing underground utilities to be crossed during the boring process to ensure zero damage.
  • Fluid Management: Analyze ground conditions and mix drilling mud with the correct additives to maintain borehole integrity for smooth product pull-back.
  • Maintenance & Care: Perform routine minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. Keep company trucks and equipment clean, organized, and presentable.
