Job Overview:

Pay Range: $15hr - $20hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous related experience is not required, however, knowledge of warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Ability to use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), such as walkie-riders, cherry pickers, deep reaches, and sit-down forklifts.
  • Ability to learn new skills, have a high level of attention to detail and demonstrate personal responsibility.
  • Basic mathematical and reading skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, sound judgment, organizational skills, time-management skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick, sort, put away, and stage customer orders according to product code, lot number, and quantity requested.
  • Inspect truck/container for the condition of temperature and cleanliness and report any abnormality to management.
  • Organize the dock and prepare for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Notate and report any discrepancies and/or damages to the Supervisor per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Check picked orders for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, and document completion.
  • Accurately pack customer orders in compliance with instructions on the order form or as provided by the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Pack completed orders in such a manner as to protect the product from loss or damage.
  • Process parcel shipments using the provided Ship Station Meters.
  • Palletize metered packages for transfer to the appropriate carrier and mode of shipping (ground or air).
  • For less than truck load (LTL) palletized shipments; scan, palletize cases, weigh and stretch-wrap truck orders.
  • Create, check, or print Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and accurately stage for shipping or receiving as required.
  • Confirm and compare all identifying information and counts items to verify information against BOL, packing lists, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Verify and file records of all receiving and shipping documentation at the time of delivery and receipt.
  • Input receipts into SAP, utilizing both radio frequency (RF) scanning devices and desktop or laptop terminals.
  • Load and unload trucks as assigned.
  • Support inventory cycle counts, as required by Inventory Control.
  • Observe all safety guidelines; inform Supervisor of any safety hazards; attend all required safety training classes.
  • Able to operate material handling equipment as necessary to move materials while complying with all safety and power industrial truck operating rules.
  • Responsible to learn all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and be fully compliant with all regulations regarding the handling, storage, and shipping of Dangerous Drugs and Medical Devices.
  • Clean, maintain, and ensure proper housekeeping in the facility to meet and exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
  • Responsible for reasonable duties as assigned by Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • All employees are responsible for ensuring compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per their roles and responsibilities.
