Spreetail

Job description

Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Learn how we are building one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history: www.spreetail.com.

Spreetail is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager in our warehouse to be a primary architect of our fulfillment growth. This isn't just about moving boxes; it’s about building leaders and teams of leaders. You will lead a high-velocity operation, relentlessly pushing the boundaries of order transit time, delivery quality, and accuracy. As a key partner to our global supply chain leadership, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and floor-level execution to ensure we stay ahead of the e-commerce curve.
How you will achieve success:
  • Design and develop advanced analytics models and tooling infrastructure to optimize inventory levels and procurement.
  • Oversee and enhance tools like ROB (Replenishment Open to Buy), NPR (New Part number Research), Inventory Control Tower, and Inbound/Freight Optimization for efficient order quantity generation and allocation. Develop new tools required for new business pursuits or advancing current operations.
  • Ensure prompt response to business insights needs and tooling requisitions, adhering to an SLA set response window.
  • Continuously monitor inventory levels and performance through advanced data analytics. Work to produce predictive analytics models that the reporting teams can utilize to support key inventory metrics 1+ years in advance (COH, Receipts, OOS, Inventory Turn, Lost Sales, Allocation %, etc.).
  • Provide data-driven insights for ad hoc inventory decisions, supporting the inventory management team with necessary data and tools. Ensure the analysis explains business drivers ($s) vs. count metrics.
What experiences will help you in this role:
  • Multiple years of progressive experience in high-volume fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution; e-commerce expertise is strongly preferred to navigate our unique pace and customer-centric complexity.
  • A minimum of 5+ years in a leadership capacity, with a demonstrated ability to transition from tactical oversight to high-level strategic planning and execution.
  • A track record of successfully leading large-scale operations (headcounts of 50+ team members) across single or multi-site environments, maintaining operational integrity during rapid growth and seasonal peaks.
  • Expert-level skill in identifying, assessing, and onboarding "Bar Raising" talent. You have a disciplined approach to recruitment that ensures every hire elevates the existing team’s capabilities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to Radical Candor—the ability to provide and solicit direct, actionable feedback (both constructive and reinforcing) across all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing complex labor and capacity models to balance fluctuating global inbound freight with rigorous, on-time outbound shipping expectations.
  • A history of building and protecting a high-performance culture rooted in "Extreme Ownership," transparency, and a safety-first mindset.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000/year to $105,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

In an effort to Make Spreetail Better, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role, so we encourage job applicants to apply even if you don't meet all the qualifications listed. We are looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non-linear career paths. If this role highlights your experience and gets you excited – please apply!

What you can expect from us:
We provide the flexibility to take care of yourself. Spreetail operates in a work culture that promotes results and encourages taking time off when needed. In addition to a generous vacation policy, we also offer paid time-off for your wedding week, paid parental leave and support for parents of growing families.
• We celebrate accomplishments. Each year at Spreetail is a milestone with the opportunity to receive special gifts, swag store credit, or donations to a nonprofit of your choice. We also recognize people pursuing impacts with Spreetail Spotlight Awards.
• We care about your Health & Wellness. Spreetail works hard to enhance the employee experience through benefit programs and perks that provide meaningful support. We offer affordable medical, dental and vision plans with coast-to-coast coverage. We also provide free telehealth and on-demand mental health resources. Learn more about our benefits & perks package.
• We create the opportunity to revolutionize your community. We encourage Spreetailers to give back and make a social impact, and we offer paid time off to do it.
