Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to bring structure, organization, and positive leadership to our Clifton Park warehouse operation. This person will help set daily priorities, support the team through clear direction and coaching, and ensure materials move safely, accurately, and efficiently through shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment activities.

The ideal candidate is a steady, practical leader who can balance hands-on execution with team development, accountability, and encouragement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

  • The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily logistics activities that support our Clifton Park, NY operation, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, material movement (including all picking and returning material to inventory), and on-time order fulfillment.
  • This is a hands-on working supervisor role. In addition to leading the team, this person is expected to actively support day-to-day warehouse operations and directly assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
  • The Logistics Supervisor sets daily priorities, monitors workflow, and helps ensure materials and finished goods move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the operation.
  • This position partners closely with Operations Manager, Production, Quality, Order Management, and any other internal teams to resolve issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and support customer commitments.
  • Will be on the Clifton Park Security Team for after-hours alarms or security issues.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily logistics operations to support safe, timely, and accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • This position will be actively participating in shipping, and receiving responsibilities while coordinating team priorities, workload, and resources.
  • Support a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the logistics function.
  • Lead, assist in training, and coach logistics team members while providing clear direction, feedback, and day-to-day support
  • Act as a hands-on working supervisor by directly assisting with shipping, receiving, picking, staging, and other warehouse activities as needed
  • Oversee inbound receiving, outbound shipping, warehouse organization, and material handling activities
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately, and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities
  • Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate priorities to support on-time delivery commitments
  • Prepare, verify, and process shipping and receiving documentation and help resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Partner with Operations Manager, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Order Management to resolve issues and maintain flow
  • Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse and staging areas
  • Support employee onboarding, training, cross-training, and ongoing development
  • Promote compliance with company procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards

Qualifications

Combination of education and experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, materials management, or supply chain operations, including prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Skills and Expectations

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
  • Proficiency with ERP, inventory, shipping, or warehouse management systems and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well across functions

The starting pay for this position will be between $30 and $35/hr, depending on experience.
