Job description

Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group has partnered with a leading aviation parts and inventory company seeking an outbound inspector.     Apply now and call 703-620-6444 for an immediate interview 

Key accountabilities: 

•    Perform visual inspections of outgoing parts and materials.
•    Inspect and identify material and related documentation as prescribed by the sales/repair order, highlighting any non-conformance or omission.
•    Perform review of physical attributes, quantity, and records for release. 
•    Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data input into the DASI database.
•    Issue  material certification, as required.
•    Comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) requirements when inspecting ESD material.
•    Work with Quality Assurance department in continuous improvement projects.
•    Perform all other duties as assigned.

•    Flexible, responsive, and enthusiastic.
•    Able to cope well under pressure and resolve issues and problems using their own initiative.
•    Able to work effectively to tight deadlines and targets.
•    Able to work in a fast-moving environment where a pro-active, can-do attitude is needed to achieve goals.
•    Knowledge of MS Office Suite or equivalent.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Able to liaise with all levels of the organization.
•    Demonstrated professional style.

Experience and qualifications:
•    High School Graduate or GED- Required.    
•    Minimum 1 year processing aviation surplus parts is required.                                            
•    Minimum 1 year job related experience is helpful.                                                      
•    ISO and/or AS Quality Standard knowledge- a Plus.
