What are the main challenges faced by Ou Students and how can they overcome them?

Developing habits around regular coursework reviews and proactively reaching out when help is needed can make the remote learning experience more rewarding and successful.

To thrive as an Ou Student, you need strong self-motivation, time management, and academic aptitude, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Effective written communication, adaptability, and independent problem-solving are notable soft skills for success. These competencies enable students to manage flexible study schedules, stay engaged in coursework, and meet academic goals in a largely self-directed learning environment.
