Reporting to the Production Manager, the Electrical Mechanical Assembler is responsible for sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines, related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.
This position is part of the Operations Department located in Fort Collins, CO and will be on-site.

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.

It would be a plus if you also possess:
  • Technical certification or vocational training in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a lean or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters.
  • IPC soldering certification or equivalent experience.

Physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands for assembly and tool operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
  • Strong visual acuity for detailed assembly work.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $19 - $21 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
