The Opportunity

We are seeking motivated, customer-focused sales professionals interested in future opportunities as Regional Sales Managers throughout the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing a defined sales territory.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to municipal, environmental, industrial, hydrological, and water-focused customers while helping them solve critical challenges through innovative technology solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve or exceed sales goals.

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.

  • Grow and maintain relationships with existing customers while expanding into new accounts.

  • Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations.

  • Collaborate with application engineers, inside sales partners, and product specialists to deliver customer success.

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.

  • Represent Ott at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to drive growth.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of outside sales, territory management, account management, or business development experience.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales objectives.

  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote territory environment.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% or more within an assigned territory.

Preferred

  • Experience serving environmental, municipal, water, wastewater, hydrology, meteorology, industrial, or utility customers.

  • Experience selling technical products, instrumentation, software, or monitoring solutions.

  • Strong business acumen and territory planning skills.

  • Experience managing multi-state territories.
