What is an OTC manager?

OTC Managers, or Over-the-Counter Managers, are professionals responsible for overseeing the OTC processes within a company's finance or supply chain operations. Their main duties include managing the order-to-cash cycle, ensuring timely processing of orders, billing, collections, and resolving customer queries related to invoices or payments. They collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams to streamline processes and improve cash flow. OTC Managers play a vital role in maintaining healthy customer relationships and optimizing the company's revenue cycle.

How does an OTC manager typically collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order-to-cash processes?

As an OTC Manager, you will work closely with teams such as sales, customer service, finance, and supply chain to streamline the order-to-cash cycle. Coordinating with sales helps ensure accurate order entry, while collaboration with finance is essential for timely invoicing and collections.
