  • ccupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
  • Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
  • Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
  • Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
  • Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
  • Assists the patient with tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
  • Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment, along with the OT/PT as needed.

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
