This position creates a strong link between local Engineering capabilities and the Global MPS organization. It supports Walter's Aerospace growth strategy, accelerates customer-focused innovation, and drives profitable growth through productivity improvements, premium services, and long-term customer partnerships.

The purpose of this position is to drive the growth of Walter's Aerospace business in Poland by combining engineering expertise, customer application support, and Machining Process Solutions (MPS) to create measurable customer value and business growth.


Location : Poland


Your mission:

  • Develop and expand Walter's Aerospace business in the Polish market.
  • Act as the technical focal point for Aerospace customers, Sales, and Engineering teams.
  • Support strategic Aerospace customer projects, process validations, and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and realize customer value through MPS services, machining optimization, and value-based business cases.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Walter Poland, Walter Germany, and the Global MPS organization.
  • Increase service, tooling, and solution sales through technical consulting and customer engagement.
  • Build and transfer Aerospace know-how within the region while contributing to global best-practice sharing.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Very strong CAM expertise mandatory - Siemens NX required
  • Experience with CATIA highly preferred; additional CAM systems are an advantage
  • Experience with VERICUT is an advantage
  • High level of CAD/CAM knowledge including multi-axis machining, with experience in 2D and 3D design
  • Extensive knowledge of cutting tool applications, machining strategies, and process optimization
  • Strong NC programming skills; project management experience required
  • Solid understanding of CNC machine tools and controllers (e.g. Siemens 840D, FANUC, Mazatrol, Okuma OSP)
  • Structured, disciplined working style with strong adherence to defined MPS processes and standards
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Good communication skills, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong interpersonal abilities
  • English language skills
  • Service- and customeroriented mindset with the ability to position paid engineering services
