Job description

Osmose Utilties is seeking to hire a Manager of Field Operations Scheduling, this in office position is our located at our corporate headquarters in downtown Atlanta, GA
The Manager of Field Operations Schedulingleads Osmose's centralized scheduling function, overseeing the assignment, scheduling, and dispatch of field resources across all Lines of Business. This role owns the Salesforce Field Services scheduling capability and partners closely with Field Operations and functional leaders to deliver optimized, scalable, and consistent scheduling outcomes. The leader manages a team of schedulers, drives the transition from implementation to go-live through a phased roll-out, ensures continuity between new Salesforce-enabled and legacy scheduling processes, and delivers measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, and crew utilization.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Scheduling team to execute resource assignment, scheduling, and dispatch across Osmose LOBs
  • Own and lead the transition from Salesforce Field Services implementation and training to go-live (June 15), ensuring operational readiness.
  • Partner with RLT and Field Operations leadership on a phased scheduling roll-out (Wave 1-4), aligned with ESRI data collection waves
  • Scale the scheduling organization from initial Wave 1 staffing (3 schedulers) to full operational capacity (5-6 schedulers)
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Field Operations leadership to optimize crew utilization and scheduling effectiveness
  • Oversee automated scheduling for most work orders while leading escalation and exception management for complex jobs
  • Adjust work assignments in response to changing scopes, customer requirements, personnel availability, and weather constraints
  • Identify opportunities to scale and standardize the scheduling function, enabling cross-LOB scheduling capabilities
  • Ensure business continuity by managing Salesforce-enabled scheduling alongside legacy processes during phased roll-out
  • Drive measurable productivity and efficiency gains through improved scheduling, routing, and dispatch practices.

Requirements:
  • Preferred - strong operational background and knowledge of Osmose field operations
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to set objectives and manage demanding schedules.
  • Ability to influence supervisors and crews while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating operational plans successfully.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and work varied hours when necessary.
  • Basic computer / systems skills (software skills, excel)
