Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator

Location: Hybrid โ€“ New York, NY (3 days onsite: Tuesdayโ€“Thursday, 2 days remote: Monday & Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator to support and enhance the PI Data Historian infrastructure for Electric and Gas Control Center operations. This role is responsible for the architecture, administration, integration, support, and continuous improvement of a large-scale enterprise PI environment supporting mission-critical operational systems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI technologies, high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) environments, operational technology (OT) integrations, and enterprise analytics.

  • Administer, maintain, and enhance a large-scale enterprise PI System supporting over 1.5 million PI tags.

  • Design, implement, and support HA/DR solutions for PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and PI Vision.

  • Configure and maintain PI AF Elements, Element Templates, Analytics, Event Frames, Notifications, and enterprise dashboards.

  • Develop PI dashboards, reports, and custom applications using PI SDK, AF SDK, PI OLEDB, PowerShell, and related technologies.

  • Integrate PI with enterprise systems using OPC DA/UA, PI API, PI to PI, DNP3, RDBMS, and other interfaces.

  • Support the PI Data Historian infrastructure for Electric, Gas, and Steam Control Center operations.

  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high system availability.

  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.

  • Maintain disaster recovery documentation and operational procedures.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical leadership to deliver enterprise solutions.
