Job description

Precision Walls has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Safety Coordinator - OSHA 510 to join our team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • All phases of branch Safety / Lean Support and Enforcement.
  • Safety Checklist / Lean Checklist Inspections.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments (when required). Supportive documentation.
  • Provide training and licensing for field personnel task to work with tools and equipment i.e. Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, Scaffolds, Ladders and Stilts.
  • Support Management team in creating New Job Start Up requirements i.e. contract safety documents, JSSP/ SSSP, OCIP -CCIP requirement etc.
  • Ensures a Safe and Healthy work environment that adheres with OSHA guidelines.
  • Accompany and support injured employees, attend initial doctor appointments, support until employee is released to full duty.
  • Ensures all documentation is completed for any Accident, Incident or Property Damage.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements / Experience

  • 5+ years in commercial construction safety experience.
  • Has knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPad, smartphones, and various other electronic devises.
  • OSHA 30.
  • Precision Walls Trained Trainer (provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator, Safety QQC, Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRM).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
