DePaul is looking for a skilled maintenance professional to join our team! Under the direction of the Regional Facilities Director, the Regional Maintenance Specialist is a hands-on, multi-site role responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance services across multiple DePaul sites within an assigned region. This position exceeds the scope of a Maintenance Tech and serves as a regional technical resource for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Respects and maintains resident confidentiality and demonstrates a caring, positive attitude toward residents, staff and guests.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Provides maintenance support to multiple sites within an assigned region.
• Responds to escalated maintenance issues that exceed site-level capabilities.
• Performs emergency repairs and participates in the regional on-call rotation.
• Supports preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
• Coordinates regional priorities with the Regional Facilities Director.
• Provides hands-on technical guidance to Facilities Coordinators as needed.
• Oversees and inspects contractor and vendor work for quality and compliance.
• Assists with safety inspections, life-safety systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations for self, residents, staff, and visitors.
• Performs other duties necessary for the effective operation of the Facilities Management Department.


• High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school, technical training, or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience, preferably supporting multiple sites or complex facilities. Demonstrated experience working with HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and general building and property

   maintenance.
• HVAC-R / EPA Universal or CFC Certification; Plumbing certification or documented trade training; Electrical certification or documented trade training; OSHA 10-Hour certification (OSHA-30 a plus). Certifications are preferred; candidates without certifications must demonstrate equivalent     

   hands-on experience.
• This position requires a clean NYS driving record as outlined in DePaul’s personnel policy.


This role is Monday-Friay and will service DePaul programs throughout Rochester, NY.
