Job Title: X-Ray Technician (Part time)
Facility: RRH Orthopedic Urgent Care
Location: 140 Cobblestone Ct Dr, Victor, NY 14564
Type: Part-Time (24 hours/week)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: M–F (7:30 AM – 8:00 PM, flexible shifts) | Saturdays (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Shift Type: 8-Hour Days
Rate: $60/hr (W2) | $64/hr (1099) 

Job Description:
WNY Orthopedics is seeking a highly motivated and dependable X-Ray Technician to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment. This role supports orthopedic imaging services primarily at our Victor location, with occasional floating to other sites as needed.
The ideal candidate will have orthopedics experience, demonstrate strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Flexibility, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures under physician supervision
  • Prepare patients for X-rays and ensure proper positioning to obtain accurate images
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with safety protocols
  • Accurately document patient records and imaging procedures in the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to support diagnosis and patient care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
  • Float to other WNY Orthopedic locations as required

Requirements:
  • Valid ARRT certification (or equivalent)
  • Current state licensure (New York)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an orthopedic or outpatient imaging setting
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying workflow demands
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing quality patient care

Additional Details:
  • Shift Flexibility: Combination of 12, 10, 8, and 4-hour shifts based on department need
  • Overtime: Daily OT after 24 hours; Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
