X-Ray Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York (Sawgrass & Marketplace/Miracle Mile)
Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week


Schedule
  • 8-hour Day Shifts, 40 hours/week

  • Monday – Friday, between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

  • No call, no holidays


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physicians’ orders

  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures

  • Position and assist patients safely, including lifting if needed

  • Operate X-ray equipment, including c-arm/O-arm, safely and effectively

  • Ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation by Radiologist

  • Maintain accurate records and proper image labeling in PACS

  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly


Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Completion of formal training in Radiologic Technology

  • ARRT certification: Required

  • NYS Radiologic Technologist license (or able to obtain prior to start)

  • Minimum 2 years of X-ray Technologist experience

  • Comfortable in OR and performing portable X-rays

Certifications:

  • BLS (Required)
