General X-Ray Technologist (Contract) – NY 14642

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks (05/04/2026 – 08/01/2026)

  • Schedule: Full-Time, 5x8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)

  • Shift Times: Day shifts (e.g., 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

  • Hours: 40 hrs/week

  • Pay: $2,351 – $2,635/week

  • Call: 2–3 on-call shifts/month + callback coverage

  • Holidays: As required per unit needs

  • Response Requirement: Must report within 30 minutes for call shifts

Position Summary & Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging per physician orders

  • Verify patient identity and ensure correct exam protocols

  • Position and assist patients, including those with limited mobility

  • Produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation (PACS workflow)

  • Ensure radiation safety and proper equipment use/maintenance
