Usher – Event-Based Scheduling $15 hourly  Position Summary: The Orpheum Theater is seeking friendly, reliable Ushers to provide an exceptional guest experience during live events. This is a flexible, event-based role where team members select shifts based on their availability and the theater's event schedule.Key Responsibilities:Greet guests in a professional and welcoming mannerScan tickets and assist with entryEscort patrons to their seats and provide directional assistanceAnswer guest questions regarding the venue, seating, and event detailsMonitor assigned areas to ensure guest safety and comfortAssist with crowd flow before, during, and after eventsProvide general support to front-of-house operations as neededScheduling & Expectations:This is a flexible, event-based position; shifts are offered based on event needsTeam members may accept or decline shifts based on availabilityOnce a shift is accepted, attendance is expected and reliability is essentialEvening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferredQualifications:Strong customer service and communication skillsProfessional appearance and positive attitudeAbility to stand for extended periods and navigate stairsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentPrior hospitality or event experience is a plus, but not required
