Job Description

About the role 
As a Team Leader of the BI and Analytics tribe you will be responsible for leadership, direction and mentorship for cross-functional team members. You'll drive collaborative decision-making and empower and motivate the team in achieving a shared vision, identity, values, and goals. At the same time, we expect you to get your hands dirty and design, code, test or analyze based on your functional specialty. You'll be involved in hiring and developing your team members and generally setting the objectives for them to thrive and have a great time at Orion Health.

Qualifications

About You
As the ideal candidate for this critical at Orion Health, we expect you will have
Technical Skills:
    A minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience (JAVA/Scala)
    Previous experience working as a technical team leader in a software company
    Experience in designing/building enterprise software systems
    Confidence to contribute to the Architecture & Design of building a solution
    Exposure to Big Bata Technologies - Apache SPARK, Elastic search is an advantage
    Experience with Standard BI Tools is a bonus
Agile
    Solid background utilizing an Agile framework (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, SAFe) in software development.
    Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement
    Work across multiple stakeholders to reveal and remove impediments
    Prioritize and drive the team to achieve goals
People
    Experience in growing and mentoring software engineering teams
    Creating personal development plans for the team members and help them achieve these objectives.
    Previous experience recruiting software development talent
