Responsibilities
Successful candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance. Therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Identify targeting leads through the exploitation of various intelligence sources.
  • Use methodologies and tools to identify and extract data to drive collection and operations.
  • Exploit covert and publicly available information to drive human, technical and blended operations.
  • Utilize data and collection management tools to enhance, enrich, and accelerate targeting work across multi-center, multi-agency studies and projects.
  • Use full suite of customer specific and Intelligence community targeting tools and databases to develop target networks, spot potential leads for development or disruption and assess operational targeting leads for action.
  • Perform research by using multiple intelligence databases to create multiple layer files, locate areas of interest and increase confidence level in analytical assessments.
  • Participate in successful efforts to obtain cross-agency access to data sets critical to mission success.
  • Utilize disparate datasets and specialized tools to identify key threats.
  • Use technical skills, conduct data mining, data visualization and computational thinking to analyze asymmetric threats, discover entities lacking signatures and monitor behaviors.
  • Exploit target tools by researching and analyzing information to identify targets of interest, their networks, and affiliated organizations.
  • Write and coordinate reports to share relevant intelligence with other IC partners.
  • Perform a wide range of traces on targets of interest and provide results to vested components.
  • Write target strategies, define targeting and operational objectives
  • Coordinate with officers of varying disciplines cases to assess risk and fill gaps

Qualifications
  • Advanced user and tasker for full range of collection systems and targeting tools.
  • Knowledge of various collection tools
  • Experienced with information collection and database maintenance and production for diverse locations from various classified and unclassified sources
  • Proficient with open source data mining and applied logic queries
  • Experienced using intelligence applications and database systems
  • Able to translate findings into clear, colloquial, comprehensible English for sharing with multiple defense and partner agencies
  • Capable user with targeting and targeting development tools
  • Able to provide targeting using proprietary targeting and technical tools and capabilities to support mission operations
  • Work collaboratively with others by taking a multi-intelligence approach and reaching out to other partners to ensure the production of high-quality intelligence

Education
  • A BS or MS degree, preferably in a technical field plus four years of relevant experience, or seven years of relevant experience

Individual compensation is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and market data. The anticipated salary range for this position is $200,000 - $210,000 annually.
