THE ROLE
The Toledo Complex includes both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, and this role provides operational support across both locations. The Suite Attendant serves as the primary point of contact for suite holders and guests, ensuring service excellence, accuracy, and compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to suite holders and single-game renters for all events hosted at accesso ShoWare Center
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional customer service to all guests while maintaining a positive and engaging presence
  • Prepare suites prior to each event, ensuring all food, beverages, and amenities are properly stocked, organized, and presentation-ready
  • Monitor and replenish suite inventory throughout the event to maintain service standards
  • Confirm all food and beverage items are prepared to standard, delivered accurately, and served in a timely manner
  • Assist with catering functions and demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple service roles as needed, including bartender, server, suite runner, and catering support
  • Complete all opening and closing duties as assigned by the Suites and Catering Manager or Supervisor
  • Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all local, state, and company alcohol service regulations
  • Obtain required signatures from suite hosts for charges incurred during events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of suites and service areas throughout the event
  • Complete all closing tasks prior to departure
  • Maintain availability for nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
  • Be a team player

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of state and local health requirements related to food handling and alcohol service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move items up and down stairs and ramps.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain professional and guest-focused in high-volume event environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates throughout the Toledo Complex, including warehouse, dock, storage, kitchen, concessions, and event spaces. Team members may work indoors and outdoors depending on event needs. The role may require exposure to varying temperatures, including coolers, freezers, outdoor weather conditions, and high-volume event environments.
SAFETY EXPECTATIONS
All team members are expected to practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.
Team members must:
  • Operate equipment only when properly trained and authorized.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Clean spills and hazards promptly.
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Report all workplace injuries and illnesses in the company's risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day the incident is reported.
