The dental assistant is an integral member of the dental team providing quality dental care to patients. The dental assistant demonstrates strong clinical skills by practicing four handed dentistry, preparing operatories for the required procedures, organizing and coordinating patient charts and paperwork, and providing good customer service through strong interpersonal skills.
