What You'll Do:

Traeger is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to join our world-class sales team. You will be responsible for supporting our business at Ace Hardware and running the offense at several of Traeger's key strategic accounts, including Buying Groups such as Orgill, Do-it-Best, and True Value Hardware; and National Outdoor accounts such as Scheel's, Bass Pro Shops, Academy Sports, and Sportsman's Warehouse. You will be responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies and account management initiatives that drive profitable growth, achieve KPIs, and help bring more consumers into the Traegerhood.

How You'll Help Us Win:

  • Identify and execute business strategies that contribute to Traeger's strategic objectives and drive incremental revenue, market share growth, and opportunities for expansion
  • Maintain regular contact by phone, email, and in-person with assigned accounts to discuss and evaluate program strategies, marketing plans, and promotional initiatives
  • Drive end-to-end account management while ensuring Traeger profitability: from sales presentation to order acquisition to order delivery; management and resolution of all credit claims, customer compliance issues, returns, etc
  • Produce and deliver accurate and reliable quarterly forecasts
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company sales leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Foster a high-performance culture, innovative thinking, and an enterprise mindset throughout the organization
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Plan and execute high-value on-site customer events such as demos, product trainings, trade shows, and customer appreciation events.
  • Partner with our field sales team to maximize store adoption and execution

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 8+ years of sales/account management, or equivalent experience working directly with Buying Groups or national accounts
  • Strong analytical, planning & negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to drive business insights and turn them into tangible action
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) & the ability to analyze data (data & analytics experience)
