Job Description
To support Commander Naval Air Force (COMNAVFOR) management of shipboard organizational maintenance management system (OMMS) for the aircraft carrier fleet. The OMMS Manager shall assist and be responsible to the Force Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Policy and Program Manager by providing management and analysis of subject matter processes used onboard aircraft carriers utilizing information provided by all System Commands, Type Commanders, CINC and OPNAV information technology software system utilized in the support of CVN maintenance and modernization. Knowledge of OMMS-NG, OMMS on the Propulsion Plant LAN, Regional Maintenance Automated Information System (RMAIS), Revised Alternative Data Flow-Web (RAD Web) and other fleet support systems. Train and provide technical direction to personnel assigned to aircraft carrier 3M, Maintenance Support Center (MS) and Divisional Work Center offices.
Job Requirements
Must be skilled at conducting training in a class room setting or over the shoulder. Must have experience with naval modernization systems and policy. Experience in
conducting assessments and inspection visits. Proficiency in MS products and networks utilized to support management systems.
Travel to all CVN homeports will be required. Must travel to the forward deployed CVN.
Must be able to go aboard CVNs for assistance and training.
Clearance Requirement
