Job description

The Order Selector fulfills customers' orders in a warehouse by operating a forklift or an electric pallet jack. The position is responsible for picking product, palletizing customer orders, and finally staging and loading the orders onto a truck for delivery. • Fulfill customer orders using a forklift or pallet jack • Project a friendly, professional image at all times • Prioritize multiple, competing priorities • Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor • Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy • Ensure work area is organized, clean, and free of trash • Attend meetings as required
• Prior forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment
• Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear
