Job Summary:
Order selectors must be safety conscious and adhere to warehouse safety procedures when operating equipment. They need to be able to manage inventory and ensure that stock levels do not fall below demand. Good computer skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also needed. Customer service should be at the forefront as order selectors need to make sure the customer gets what they requested when they need it.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Reading customer orders accurately
  • Locating and selecting the specific warehouse items to fulfill the customer's order
  • Performing visual inspections or orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment
  • Quickly and accurately input inventory into software and use basic math skills often to complete daily tasks
  • Following warehouse safety procedures for the operation of equipment, such as wearing proper clothing, safe food handling, and maintain awareness of your surroundings and the other workers when transporting items
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and always organized
