Weโ€™re seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a flexible, variable-shift opportunity in San Luis Obispo, California. This role is ideal for a clinically strong pharmacist with inpatient experience and Cerner proficiency.


Schedule
  • 10-hour shifts: Night Shift

  • 7on 7off

  • Travel stipends for Housing and Meals

  • Scheduled 2โ€“3 weekends per month

  • Schedule is as needed


Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy โ€“ Required

  • Pharmacist license (California) โ€“ Required

  • 2โ€“3 years hospital experience โ€“ Required

  • Cerner experience โ€“ Required

  • IV Certification (such as CriticalPoint) โ€“ Preferred

  • PharmD โ€“ Preferred

  • Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience โ€“ Preferred


Key Responsibilities
  • Process, verify, and distribute medication orders in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

  • Ensure medication therapy is safe, effective, and cost-efficient

  • Review prescribing for indication, dose, route, frequency, allergies, and drug interactions

  • Manage daily medication utilization reports and identify improvement opportunities

  • Perform quality assurance procedures
