The hourly wage for this position is $17.00 / hour, based on applicable experience.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for receiving stock items from vendors, organizing all food storage areas for inventory, and keeping storage areas clean in accordance with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Inspect orders received to ensure correct weight, quality and quantity.

2. Check all products in accordance with HACCP regulations, including rotation of stock

as received (FIFO).

3. Date all products individually.

4. Put orders away in a timely manner.

5. Clean all food storage areas.

6. Check loading dock daily and keep it clean.

7. Record all cooler and freezer temperatures daily.

8. Work closely with the chef and cooks to ensure that proper communication is maintained.

9. Assist with weekly inventory.

10. Assist in catering deliveries and utility duties as needed.

11. Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using “clean as you go” techniques.

12. Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.

13. Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.

14. Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards. Uses Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.

15. Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.

16. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
