About the Team:

Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About the Role:

We are looking for a RFC Order Selector to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. RFC Order Selector responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust, and mop as required
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment

    About The Pay: 

    • Base Salary Range: $20 Hourly
    • 401(k) Profit Sharing
    • Medical, Dental & Vision
    • Employees are eligible to earn up to ten (10) days of vacation per year. Vacation time is accrued each pay period and is not granted in full at the start of employment. 

    • Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

    About you:

    • Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for 8-10 hours per day
    • Able to lift 50-75 pounds without assistance
    • Physically able to operate pallet jacks and fork lifts
    • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
    • Have reliable transportation to and from work
    • Good organizational and time management skills

    Physical Demands and Abilities:

    • Regularly required to use hands and arms for grabbing, pulling, pushing
    • Reach and/or lift materials above head
    • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
    • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
    • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
    • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
    • Regularly work indoors/out doors in cold/hot and wet conditions
