Job description

Job Title: Order Picker
Job Description

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently picking orders using a sit-down forklift. You will locate items based on an invoice sheet, pull them, and then stack them on a forklift. Additionally, you will operate a sit-down forklift and reach truck. All items handled weigh up to 50 lbs. You may also be required to load trailers and pack items for shipping. The position involves working the evening shift from Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 1 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down forklift and reach truck to pick orders.
  • Locate and pull items based on invoice sheets and stack them on the forklift.
  • Load trailers and pack items for shipping.
  • Ensure accuracy in order picking, as errors can lead to significant issues.
  • Occasionally work in cooler and freezer environments to pick orders.
Essential Skills
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Proficiency with riding pallet jacks and reach trucks.
  • Warehouse, material handling, and order picking experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Comfortable working in cold environments such as coolers and freezers.
