TalentSphere is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established building products retailer in the GTA for a Counter Sales Associate specializing in Lumber & Hardware. This is a solid opportunity for a knowledgeable sales professional with experience serving contractors and customers in the building materials industry.

About the Role

We are seeking a Counter Sales professional with experience in lumber, hardware, and building products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at a busy sales counter, assisting contractors and retail customers, and providing accurate product knowledge and recommendations. Candidates with previous experience at Rona, Home Depot (Contractor Desk), or similar building supply environments are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledgeable sales support and product recommendations for lumber, hardware, and related building materials
  • Serve contractors and walk-in customers efficiently and professionally at the sales counter
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regular contractor accounts
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales targets
