Job description

Job Summary

The Order Fulfillment Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Order Fulfillment Manager with various aspects of customer order process for a retail branch location. The Order Fulfillment Specialist will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective order entry, management and fulfillment strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, efficient service at the express pick-up area by completing accurate register transactions, verifying memberships, loading customer orders, and expediting checkout to minimize wait times
  • Drive completion of open customer orders as directed by Order Fulfillment Manager and/or Specialist
  • Support the growth and customer utilization of online ordering and all order fulfillment options within market reach of the branch location
  • Communicate effectively with the Inventory and Sales Departments to maintain a consistent focus on what is best for our customers
  • Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of registers, customer orders, and the express pick up area of the location
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Education
