Forklift Cherry Picker Operator
Job Summary
Pear Staffing is seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently pick, stock, and move inventory in a warehouse/distribution environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating order-picker (cherry picker) forklifts at heights and is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cherry picker forklift to pick, pack, and stage orders at various rack heights
  • Load and unload pallets safely, verifying accuracy against pick tickets or scanners
  • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and labeling
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including proper use of harnesses/fall protection where required
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Communicate with warehouse team leads regarding order status and discrepancies
Schedule/Physical Demands
  • 1st - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Extended periods of standing, reaching, and operating machinery
Requirements
  • Valid forklift certification (cherry picker/order picker specific preferred); willing to certify
  • Minimum 6 months-1 year of cherry picker or forklift experience in a warehouse setting
