What is an order picker driver?

Order Picker Drivers are warehouse workers who operate specialized forklifts or order picker machines to retrieve products from high shelves and prepare them for shipment. Their primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently pick items according to customer orders and ensure accurate fulfillment. They may also be required to inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, and assist with inventory management. Order Picker Drivers play a crucial role in maintaining warehouse productivity and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an order picker driver?

To thrive as an Order Picker Driver, you need attention to detail, physical stamina, and a valid forklift or order picker license, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
