Forklift Certified Order Picker – Day Shift Positions Available

Inbound Forklift Positions Also Available


Position Summary:

We are seeking a Lift Certified Order Picker to utilize a forklift to pick orders in an efficient and timely manner, stack product on pallets safely, and put away product in a timely manner.

Pay Rate:

$20.00/hour


Schedule:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday 5:00am-1:30pm plus overtime as needed

Essential Job Functions:

  • Use an Order Picker (cherry picker, etc.) forklift to accurately pick orders in a timely manner.
  • Stack product on pallets properly and safely.
  • Identify and locate which product is ready to be put away on shelves – make sure it is batched and complete.
  • Put product away in a timely manner.
  • Follow proper processes and procedures.
  • Always consider safety for yourself and others.
  • Utilize good communication, including intra-task communication such as placarding.
  • Perform daily safety check on equipment.
  • Cross train in other departments when time allows.

Education/License Requirements:
Highschool Completion / GED or equivalent
General Experience Requirements:
Supply chain and logistics experience preferred
Job/Physical Requirements:

  • Basic reading and PC skills
  • Must be able to write legibly
  • Lifting up to 10 pounds on a constant basis, frequently 26-50 pounds
  • Carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Standing and driving 8 hours per day
  • Constantly performing repetitive hand and wrist movements to drive the forklift
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching above the shoulder, and squatting
  • Occasional walking, balancing, and forearm rotation
  • Work around fork-lifts and other miscellaneous warehouse equipment
  • Exposure to noise, fumes, hot and cold temperatures
  • Must be team oriented and detail oriented
  • Must be able to work overtime (10-12 hour shifts) during peak periods
  • Use hands to grip forklift controls and boxes of product
