Job description

Packing Team Member

Our packing team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality preparation of our customers' orders. Equipment experience is preferred but training is available.

This team is measured on safety, quality, timeliness, and attendance.

As we promote a strong team environment, associates in the Distribution Center will be cross-trained in a multitude of roles including pick/pack, motor freight, receiving, and material services.

This team will work between 45-50 hours on the first shift Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays (typically four hours) during peak season, and 40-45 hours outside of peak season.

This position pays at $18.34

To be successful in these roles, candidates must exhibit the following competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and persistence to deliver results regardless of obstacles
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to allow for collaboration within team and department
  • A relentless drive for continuous improvement and innovation

Candidates should also have the following education, experience, and abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with scanning technology
  • Forklift experience preferred, not required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
  • Reliable transportation
  • Solid work history showing longevity with past employers

Employees receive paid time off from day one, including 80 hours of vacation time (prorated based on the start date for the first year) and 40 hours of personal time. After the first full year of employment, eight additional hours of vacation are granted annually.
