Role and Responsibilities

The Order Management Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining account portfolios by ensuring accurate order entry and processing in the current ERP system. The role involves collaborating with various departments to support order processes, maintain compliance with Samsung Electronics' policies, and improve order-related processes and integrations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that orders are compliant with Samsung Electronics' policies, programs, and master purchase agreements.
  • Ensure that orders are received and submitted into our systems in accordance with our standard processes.
  • Ensure that orders are managed through internal Samsung systems and departments so they can ship and invoice in compliance with both customer and Samsung requirements.
  • Review and process valid order related price adjustment claims.
  • Review and process sales returns in alignment with Samsung's policies, agreements, and approve exceptions.
  • Resolve sales return related discrepancies and support resolution for related chargebacks.
  • Continually work with internal and external contacts to improve order related items including, processes, integrations, end to end performance, etc.
  • Support new account launches with systems integrations, process optimizations, policy agreement, and application.
  • Support training to explain end- to- end order fulfillment policies, processes, and systems including: hands-off and other functional areas.
  • Ability to explain end-to-end order fulfillment policies, processes, and systems; including hand-offs and other functional areas' R/R.
  • Maintain Price Discrepancy Resolution, in relation to Order Management.
  • Manage other cyclical processes including but not limited to credit/Debit Price Adjustments, Return Processing and Follow-up for Sales Error Returns, Maintaining Company and Department KPIs, Supporting Business Operations Team on Projects, and Addressing Order Management Escalations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in related Business Field.
  • Prior Order Management experience; minimum 5 - 7 years in related Business Field
  • SAP Experience.
  • EDI Experience in relation to Order Processing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and use in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Takes Direction and Lead Team Members
  • Ability to Think Outside of the Box and understand up and downstream effects of role and actions
  • Proficient Written and Verbal Skills
  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
  • Ability to Multi-Task Efficiently and work well under Pressure
  • Works well Independently
