Position Summary
The Order Picker will be responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing shipments, and performing a variety of inventory-related tasks. This position will support production by ensuring accurate inventory transactions, work order processing, and material movement.
Responsibilities
  • Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare materials and shipments for production and customers.
  • Kit work orders for production and release work orders for execution.
  • Return materials to inventory when jobs are completed by reconciling work orders.
  • Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory counts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Complete inventory transactions and adjustments as needed.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with resolving issues.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes to maintain efficient operations.
  • Support Manufacturing by maintaining accurate inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Identify and communicate shipping department constraints or process slowdowns to the supervisor.
  • Help improve department organization, cross-training, cycle counting, and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure priorities and on-time delivery (OTD) goals are met.
  • Support effective customer communication by ensuring accurate and timely inventory and shipment information.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of shipping, receiving, and inventory experience required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
