ABOUT THE ROLE

This role combines order management, invoicing, customer service and logistics coordination. The successful candidate plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy, smooth operations and customer satisfaction by closely monitoring the entire order cycle, from order entry to invoicing, while ensuring that all required timelines are met for month-end accounting close.

This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a strong aptitude for numbers and a high level of accuracy. Reliable and methodical, you are comfortable managing multiple follow-ups and ensuring tasks are completed consistently in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter received orders into the computer system on a daily basis;
  • Update the daily order tracking file for shipments;
  • Schedule shipping appointments in the clients’ portals;
  • Invoice shipped orders and verify the accuracy of the information;
  • Follow-up on open orders with the logistics team;
  • Notify clients of unavailable items;
  • Proactively respond to clients requests and follow up internally to obtain information as quickly as possible;
  • Create new client accounts;
  • Record and apply received payments in the computer system;
  • Enter credit notes and follow-up internally for approval;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

DESIRED PROFILE

  • DEP/DEC in accounting, administration or a related field (an asset);
  • 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or order processing (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software (ERP systems);
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to consistently perform repetitive administrative tasks;
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and TrueCommerce (an asset);
  • Experience in the food processing industry (an asset);
  • Proficiency in French, both written and spoken;
  • Functional English (an asset).
*Hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the office.
