Overview

Kadant Johnson is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused Order Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain group.

Responsibilities

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience from order entry through order fulfillment. This role requires building strong internal and external customer relationships while ensuring customer requirements are handled accurately, promptly, and in a compliant, efficient manner. The position works closely with Sales, Inside Sales, Applications, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Accounting.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism with a strong focus on timeliness, accuracy, and customer service. Key responsibilities include reviewing and entering customer purchase orders, responding to customer account maintenance needs, questions, requests, and concerns by email and telephone, and expediting orders to support a positive customer experience.

The preferred candidate will have an Associate's degree and prior experience in customer service, order entry, or another customer-facing role in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong commercial aptitude, clear communication, and professional interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

This position reports through the Director of Supply Chain.
